Prayer Garden

Somewhere one can go to sit and quietly reflect on the world around and within them, a place where a person can immerse themselves in the solitude of their own thoughts as they mingle with the sounds of nature, a quiet spot that invites tranquility and peace….that is exactly what the staff and volunteers of Camellia Hospice of Vidalia and Natchez had in mind when they began work on a community prayer garden. In the spirit of giving back to its community, Camellia Hospice strives for continued service to our patients and their families, as well as the communities we serve. The Community Prayer Garden which has been established on the Vidalia Riverfront near Promise Hospital is exactly that, a love gift to the people of the Miss Lou area. Camellia Hospice in conjunction with local businesses created a sanctuary where the people of our community can escape if only for a few minutes into an area filled with some of natures’ most beautiful handiwork.
